Here's a few pictures of a sale I did from home a couple of weeks ago. It was really fun, with lots of clothes and girls and food and drinks...The cat wasn't for sale by the way...

Back Online!
Ah working from home...it's nice for a while, I really needed a rest.
Well, A Pop-up Wonderland might have closed its doors for the time being,
but you can still find us easily. Little sister label East Wonderland Vintage is
on Etsy, and also at the moment, clearing some stock on ebay (hello, traders ;)
and gumtree...

We are now officially closed.
Many many thanks to all the good people who made A Pop-up Wonderland
and previously Vintage Green, the great places they have been.
Fun Times!

One Last Hooray for the weirdos of Willesden...
This year the last days of the pagan year coincide
with the last days of our project A Pop-up Wonderland, vintage shop and
art gallery in its previous incarnation.
To celebrate both and before we leave (for real this time), we're doing one last sale.
Programme:
Tuesday 20th-Saturday 24th
Sale 20% of all the Pop-up Wonderland stock this week
Monday 26th-Wednesday 28th
50% next week
Thursday 29th
whatever's left on Thursday 29th will be going for £2!
We'll have some goodbye drinks on Thursday night 6-9pm
With our resident DJ Phiorio playing at Queens Parade one last time.

An odd journey
So three and a half years, a long time for a pop-up project.
Queens Parade is still going, albeit with different shops than the ones who started back in 2012.
Each unit has seen maybe two or three, sometimes more projects, and it's been
an interesting, intense journey of learning for me, a crash course in business and social projects.
It's kind of funny running the only vintage shop in Willesden Green. I often feel it's somewhere in between Harvey Keitel's store in the Jarmusch movie Blue in the Face, and an 80s sitcom.
I made it this way because I wanted the shop to be welcoming for people, and I've made
some friends there because of it. These next few weeks should be our last in Willesden, but then I've been saying that so many times it's almost turning into a joke...so let's see what happens next.

So we're not closed yet...but we celebrated early before the Great British summer ends...it was fun, and as always, wonderful to see friendly faces gracing the space of A Pop-up Wonderland. :)

Yes No Yes No Maybe...
Oh, so after spending the whole summer announcing our closing down, and preparing for it,
turns out we actually got a lease extension. Til the end of October, this time.
We will be open the usual days and hours (monday to saturday 11-7).
Is this the longest, silliest pop-up in the history of London pop-ups?
Can you still consider yourself a pop-up after once you passed 3 years of existence?
Well...we have vintage gear...but mainly we have questions.
So many questions.
Anyway feel free to come by for a chat and a cuppa,
and til next time...

PS: Autumn-Winter stock in store soon.
Photos coming up.
Alternatively, and online only...check out our Etsy shop.
